Tailwind Slate 600

Slate 600 is the cool grey Vercel, Supabase, and most other dev-tool sites of the last five years use for body type - just enough blue cast to feel modern but never crossing into looking tinted. The hex sits in the same neighbourhood Apple's macOS uses for system labels in light mode. Body text against white passes AAA at every standard size, which is what makes it such a common default for primary copy in design systems built around blue or indigo brand colours. Any chromatic accent in the cool half of the wheel works; warm accents do too, though the temperature contrast becomes dominant.
