Floral White

Floral White is one of the warmest off-whites in the CSS spec, closer to ivory than to pure white. The name refers to the cream color of common garden flowers, and the hex carries a faint yellow undertone that makes it feel inviting rather than clinical. Stationery, beauty, and wedding designers use it as a background that softens dark text without committing to a real cream. Pair with deep brown for type, or with muted forest green for a softer secondary accent. The warm cast makes long-form reading less fatiguing than pure white under tungsten light at evening hours.
