Olive

Olive in CSS is the deep yellow-green of cured olives and Mediterranean foliage. The hex is darker and less saturated than the dictionary version of olive and sits firmly in the yellow family by hue. Editorial, heritage, and outdoor brands use it as a primary accent. Pair with cream for warmth, or with terracotta for complementary depth. Against white it carries enough contrast for body text in most sizes. AA passes at body sizes; AAA holds only at 18px and above. The undertone gives it more presence than CSS Olive Drab at the same size.
